Lunchtime Review
Harlem: Hippies
I know that so many people on Tumblr and the internet in general have been going apeshit for this record for so long that it might start getting really annoying. But GOD DAMN, this record is so fuckin’ great. True, it’s a little lo-fi, the singing’s a little bratty, and it’s basically the same sloppy punk n’ roll that might be wearing a little thin for some listeners, but you can’t deny the strength of the songs. “Gay Human Bones” is probably my favorite track so far this year. Get over yourself and get this.
I can’t wait to see them at the Southgate House in May!
